General

• All state and federal regulations apply
• No pistol, receiver, or pistol ammunition sales to individuals under 21 years of age
• No long arm sales to individuals under 18 years of age
• Ammunition orders will require an age verification form or valid FFL to be on file prior to ordering
• All interstate sales of non-C&R firearms must be shipped to a valid dealer's FFL
• Curio & Relic (C&R) eligible firearms may be shipped to a C&R FFL.
  
• No firearms can be shipped until a valid FFL is on file
• Face-to-face firearms transfers are by appointment only - contact us for details
• All custom or special orders are final and may not be changed once the order has been placed

Payment

• Credit Cards, US Postal money orders, bank money orders, and cashier's checks accepted and ship immediately
• Personal/company checks accepted but delay shipping for 10 days until check clears
• Paypal is not accepted
• Michigan residents add 6% sales tax

Shipping

• We strive to ship all orders 24-48 hours of receipt of payment, Monday - Friday
• No firearms, ammunition, or parts will be shipped internationally - No exceptions
• Most items are shipped via UPS ground with tracking information provided at time of shipping (expedited services available at additional cost)
  
• Shipping costs include insurance and are non-refundable
• If an item is damaged in shipping, contact us immediately so that we may begin the claims process
• Firearms and ammunition can not be shipped in the same package. Please note this when placing orders for both as it will affect shipping charges

Lay Aways

• Due to several bad experiences with this service recently, we are suspending lay aways until further notice.

Returns

• All items other than firearms are sold with a 7-day inspection period
• All firearms are sold with a 3-day, non-firing inspection period
• If unsatisfied, notify Southern Michigan Arms of your intent to return the firearm and a return, refund, or exchange will be made
• Any returned items must be returned in exactly the same condition as they left our shop. Any damage or other alterations (intentional or accidental) will forfeit the return. The only exception to this term is damage that occurs during shipping.
• If your firearm is shipped to a 3rd party dealer, please make arrangements to inspect the firearm within 3 days of its arrival at your dealer's shop.
• Returns requested later than 3 days after the firearm has been delivered are not eligible for refund or return
• Firearms that have been discharged (fired) during the inspection period, regardless of reason, are not eligible for refund, return, or exchange - No exceptions

• Illinois - No Ammo without a FFL.

• New Jersey - No Hi-Cap Mags over 15rds without a FFL.
• New York State - No Handguns. No Mags over 10rds.
• New York City, Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Staten Island, & Queens - No Handguns. No Mags over 10rds. No Ammo. No NFA Restricted Items.
• Washington DC - No Firearms. No Hi-Cap Mags. No Ammo.
